Klassic Kors

Oh Michael Kors, can you do no wrong? These jumpsuits from the Michael by Michael Kors SS12 collection illustrate the classic, cool styling with which Michael Kors is synonymous. His pieces are easy to wear and require minimal accessories across a neutral palette that caters perfectly for the understated woman who wants an on-trend look with minimal fuss. A fantastic alternative to the maxi dress, the full length jumpsuit is a chic way to cover up this summer, taking your look from day to night by simply swapping sandals for heels and sunnies for a statement necklace to dress up the look.

Covet Her Style

We all do it- stalk a celebrity or well dressed friend's style, attempt to emulate her specific outfits and stand in front of the mirror for hours, deliberating whether to buy, on the basis of 'Well Would Alexa Chung Wear It?!'

Stalk in secret no more! Covetique, a new website that sells pre-owned luxury pieces, is changing the second-hand fashion market as we know it. The site allows buyers and sellers to set up a style profile online, filling out a questionnaire detailing their personal style likes and dislikes. You can then view their page like a facebook profile, rummage through their selling wardrobe, follow the style of your personal faves and be updated when they are selling new pieces, thus allowing you to openly covet the wardrobe of your style crush. Their premium service makes the designer shopping experience as luxurious as Net-A-Porter, without the high price tag.

Below are some of my best picks from the site. Pick your faves on www.covetique.com and get style stalking :)

Because Sometimes I just Wanna Rock Out in My Spice Girls Denim Jacket Too...

Mullet Magnificent

Never did I think I would render appreciation for a mullet, but in this case I'm referring to this season's high-low skirt hems not the horrific 80s haircut. As seen on the SS12 catwalks of Christopher Kane and Jason Wu, the chiffon-sheer mullet flatters the leg by cutting just below the knee whilst adding an edge in it's train. My favorite way to wear this look is with a chunky boot (Jeffrey Campbell Litas are of course a fail-safe) and a cropped leather jacket with ruched-up sleeves. Don't be over-cautious in accessorising the look, keep in the chunky vain with big rings, an oversized watch or choker torc necklace. To dress up your mullet, team it with a colour pop clutch and summer sandal.

There's No Show like Galliano

John Galliano may have lost his mind but as today's A/W12 show in Paris proved, he certainly hasn't lost his talent. His ecclectic mix of pussybow blouses, chiffon peacoats and pleated silk dresses across a range of autumnal hues brought a definite haute-couture feel to this Ready-to-Wear collection. That is not to suggest that these pieces are unwearable, however. The artist-style hats bring a definite stamp of Galliano's personal style to the collection whilst I can't help but feel a sense of missed Oscars-opportunity for the week late stunning chiffon gowns. All in all, the collection proves Galliano doesn't need Dior to showcase his breathtaking artistic creations.

An Oasis of Orange

Shades of bright orange have been splashed across the SS12 catwalks, from Chloe to Proenza Schouler. Rock the bright look from head to toe, a la Christopher Kane in a mullet-skirt maxi or add an instant lift to your outfit with just a hint of summer in the form of a colour pop clutch. For a subtler take on the trend, opt for a lighter hue of orange like coral or peach, two firm favorites across the SS12 collections.
